The Marcellin College PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) is a group of dedicated members of the College, gathering every month to discuss and share fundraising ideas, to provide resources that will help all our students develop their skills, talents and character.

We gather once a month on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm, at McDonald’s McCafé in Royal Oak. We encourage new members to join us and share ideas over a cuppa coffee, a frozen drink or even a meal. Our meetings are intended to be informal, to create a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Over the years, the PTFA has provided funding for the renovations to the administration office, the school curriculum, resources, first year of employment for the Director of I.T., the upgrade to the sound system in the Gymnasium, computers and, most recently, the new fences in front of the school, which has made our school more open to the public eye.

Our PTFA members are:

  • Helen Tate – Chairperson
  • Paul Pua – Deputy Chairperson
  • Natasha Dalton – Secretary
  • Daryl Ruebe-Donaldson
  • Andrea Des Forges
  • Claudia Koenig

Meeting dates are:

  • March 29th
  • May 31st
  • June 28th
  • August 16th
  • September 27th
  • November 8th
  • December 13th

We believe that the greatest key to a student's success is the positive involvement of the parents. And the PTFA intends to provide the tools that will help our students build their future.

With God's peace and blessings.
